Fully equipped with Timex Bodylink at Warsaw Marathon Warsaw, September 17, 2006 Several competitors in the Warsaw Marathon had an opportunity to use Timex Bodylink systems on the run. 10 sets were prepared for both female and male runners who registered at the timex.pl site. After the marathon the runners were presented with CDs containing their data recorded during the run and the Timex Trainer software. At the weekend the Timex exhibition stand was frequented by both runners and fans who admired the style and technology of Timex sport watches. As the event gathered ca. 2000 competitors and thousands of supporters the site received lots of attention from a really impressive audience. Two runners got married during the event. Timex presented the newlywed with a wedding gift - two watches of the latest fashion. Timex is the Official Timekeeper of the Warsaw Marathon and as such was widely presented at press meetings. Timex watches were chosen for prizes in numerous media competitions. Timex also participates in the Marathon Academy, which popularizes running among beginners. Omega Communication is responsible for both merits and logistics of Timex sponsorship of the Warsaw Marathon.
